In the original version, they were not much different from Clots, but their unimplemented 2.0 form had them equipped with shotguns that they would randomly fire. Unlike the Wretch which was ultimately replaced by the Siren, the Infected Soldier was originally intended to still appear in 2.0 and can be found in the game files.
