The Repair Tool is first used to repair the damaged panel to the left of the Fabricator (Subnautica) in Lifepod 5 and the Lifepod's Radio, which allows messages to be received (though not sent, as the protagonist is silent).Īfterwards, early on in the game while exploring Wrecks, there can sometimes be a damaged control panel usually identical to the one in Lifepod 5 for doors, which then allows for access or easier access to an interior.
